Their idea led to launching a first range of products: leggings made from other than recycled plastic bottles, colored with natural pigments and ethically manufactured.
It all started when Ellie, an avid of working out, searched in vain for sustainable activewear and Quang Dinh (who had already founded an eco-friendly denim brand Sling and Stones in 2005) found a way to make polyester entirely from recycled bottles. More than a brand, it's a community that husband-and-wife duo Ellie and Quang Dinh sought to create when they founded Girlfriend Collective in 2016.
